煩惱即菩提

(煩惱即菩提, 烦恼即菩提)

The passions, or moral afflictions, are (sa) bodhi, i.e. the one is included in the other; it is a Tiantai term, and said to be the highest expression of Mahāyāna thought; cf. [lang id =1028]卽.
